Vineyard Vines is a clothing line that I stumbled across by having converstation with my good friend Stan Heany. He is a fraternity which is predominantly white frat while I am in predominantly black frat. Either though we are both "frat guys", white frats have a certain look to them. It is very easy to distinguish the white frats from normal white guys because they usually wear similiar clothing. Stan told me, the Prototype of a frat guy and girl are 9 times out of 10 wearing something from Vineyard Vines. I am personally a fan of the style and quality of clothes VV makes and I particularly like the look. I think it would be dope to see a group of black guys dressed like we were going to the kentucky derby, or better yet, ACTUALLY were heading to the Kentucky Derby. I really hate that society makes it acceptable for only rich white people to be seen going to horse races, or having their own boats, or going to wine tastings at vineyards because as soon as I mention any of those things to Black ppl, the first thing they say is that "Black People dont do shit like that"...smh which shouldnt be the case...I think clothes are a representation of who you are and if you dress apart and you choose to be in fine clothing, then I believe the lifestyle you choose to live will correspond.
